Reimbursements
NSBC comes at no cost to your school. Schools will be completely reimbursed through our grant, as long as all procedures are followed and requirements are met. See the specific funding categories below.
The North Dakota Space Grant Consortium (NDSGC) will reimburse each school up to $250 for payload materials. Teams should save their receipts, including those for online orders. After the launch, NDSGC will ask all team mentors to send these in, to be processed in a timely manner.
Hotels
We will reimburse schools for their Integration Night hotel rooms in Grand Forks. Due to new budget regulations, the NDSGC can no longer direct bill hotel rooms for schools beforehand. We will reimburse rooms as soon as possible following your stay.
We encourage teams to assign four students to a room (double queen beds). Individual rooms can be reserved for the teacher/mentor and chaperones.
Teams should hand in or scan their receipts to the NDSGC team anytime after they check out.
Travel
The NDSGC will reimburse schools for their bus reservations, driver's time, and mileage.
During integration night, the NDSGC will provide a pizza dinner for all guests, including teachers, chaperones, and students.
On launch day, the NDSGC will provide a light breakfast to all the participants (muffins, fruit, bagels, etc.). Lunch will also be provided on launch day.
